Back In Business

Can you believe it has been two months since I've updated this site. Well, lets start with what's been going on with Bragg Bags. We've gone international and Bi-Coastal. Yes, the Bragg Bag owner on the left (Erin) has taken hers to Italy and the owner to the right (Mary) is now residing in the DC area. The lucky Bragg Bag owner in the middle (Susan) has stayed here on base to help promote the business. We've also sent a couple off to Colorado Springs (Monica and Jessie), Nebraska (Amy) and a lot in Texas.

This litle pixie is actually modeling a Hannah Montana Bragg Bag. It seems to be the new trend. Pick out your pattern and the owner makes it! Seems to be really big for college themed Bragg Bags (below is a Univ of Texas themed Beach Bragg Bag).

Finally, we just got back from Texas. Here's a couple of pics of my nieces (Macie and Natalie) and of course Landon (who got a special little boys Sporty Bragg Bag) with their Bragg Bags. Hopefully this will catch on with the elementary school crowd in Texas as well.

The Beach Bragg Bag

Introducing the new Beach Bragg Bag. Upon overwhelming demand for the upcoming summer months, Jennifer has created a Beach Bragg Bag. I think she would more affectionately call this thing "The Beast", but she persevered. She's already taken in three more orders for them.

Funny Thing This Business Stuff

Wow, when we said these things had taken off like a wildfire on the Central Coast of California, we weren't kidding. Can't seem to go a day without someone wanting one of these wonderful Bragg Bags. Who would have known that word of mouth a blog would have stirred up such a frenzy. These things can't get made fast enough. Look for a now hiring sign soon. We even had two ladies come close to blows over who got one Bragg Bag...luckily, cooler heads prevailed.

The Bragg Bags are constantly evolving also due to customer feedback. Guess whats being added?

- Outside pocket for easy cell phone storage
- Three new bag designs (still in development stages) to go with the Bucket, Square and Envy
-- Baby Bragg Bag
-- Beach Bragg Bag
-- Mother/Daughter Bragg Bag (matching bags of varying sizes)
- Bragg Bag label inside

Heck, we've even ordered business cards.

Thanks to all of you who have checked out the blog. Continue to let us know what you think.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Riley, Abigail and Grace happily model three of the latest and greatest Bragg Bags.

Grace is astonished at how much room can be found in a Bragg Bag! Her Mom is even a proud Bragg Bag owner.

Heck, even little boys want to get their mother's a Bragg Bag

Bright Beginnings

It all started out as a fun little Christmas present project last year and has blossomed into an exhilarating hobby that I've aptly named Bragg Bags. They are trendy, fun and self-expressive purses in square and bucket shapes that seem to have caught on like a wild fire here on the Central Coast of California.

I made about 10 of these bags for Christmas as gifts. Family members loved them so much that a couple wanted to sell them at their store (Donna & Kim...if I can ever keep enough from being sold when I make them, I'll send some your way). Friends and friends of friends loved them so much that they've kept me busy making them. I even already have an order for four from one customer for Christmas. Who would have thought, some 25 Bragg Bags later that I'd be blogging about it.

Let me know what you think of the blog when you get a chance.

The Envy

The "Envy": a truly unique bag that is as versatile as your day is long. This is the first of three possible looks for the "Envy".

To get the second look, you simply turn the outer bag inside out and you instantly have a new bag.

Finally, if you want to get to the third look, just remove the outer shell and go with the single bag. This truly amazing configuration was discovered by Jennifer's sister-in-law Charlotte.

The Bucket and The Square

The Bragg Bag on the left is the "bucket", and the one on left is innocently known as the "square" (which in no way makes a statement about the carrier).
Each bag comes with an inner side pocket to carry your essential "got to get to it fast stuff." The bucket is approximately 13" across the top, 9" across the bottom and 13" deep. The square is surprisingly 12" across and 12" deep (go figure).
